Swing Bench Fit Spokane, WA · Ledger open since 2009
Home · Who Works Here

Four People, One Filing System

Everyone on the bench writes to the same ledger, but each of them owns a different corner of the work.

WH

Warrick Holloway

Founder · Full-Bag Fitting, Loft & Lie Bench

Opened the studio in 2009 after nine years bending clubs at a big-box counter off Division Street. Still runs most full-bag fittings personally and is the one who signs off on any bend that comes off the lie machine outside standard tolerance. Plays out of Downriver on the mornings the shop is closed.

PN

Priya Nakashima-Ruiz

Bench Lead · Wedges & Putters

Came from a club-repair apprenticeship in Seattle before relocating to Spokane in 2015. Runs the wedge grind station and the putter roll strip, and is the one most likely to tell a customer their bounce is wrong for the turf they actually play rather than the turf the catalogue photo suggests. Handles most of the studio's re-check appointments.

DO

Desmond Okafor

Shaft Fitting · Launch Monitor Sessions

Joined in 2019 with a background in club components rather than retail, and pushed the studio to add its first proper launch monitor that same year. Runs driver and fairway wood sessions and maintains the shaft reference wall, which he reorganizes by weight class every off-season whether it needs it or not.

CR

Colton Reyes

Grip Service · Intake & Counter

Runs intake measurements for every appointment and handles the bulk of regrip volume between fitting sessions. More on his role below.

A Note on Colton

The Counter Runs on Him

Every ledger card that leaves the building passes through his hands first.

Colton runs intake for every appointment — the initial measurements that go on a new card, or the comparison readings that update an existing one — and does the bulk of the studio's regrip volume between fitting sessions. He started part-time at the counter in 2017 while finishing a degree at Eastern Washington and stayed on full-time after graduating, which makes him the person most likely to remember your card number without looking it up.

If you call ahead with a quick question about an existing ledger card, there is a good chance you will end up talking to him rather than to whoever did the original fitting.

Book With a Specific Fitter

Request Someone by Name

The booking form has a field for it. If nobody is requested, the appointment goes to whoever has the open block for that category.
